Online Therapy Rooted in Compassion, Collaboration and Care
Welcome to Caledonian Counselling. We are an online therapy practice providing high-quality psychological support to people across the UK. I am the founder and clinical lead of the practice, and an accredited Psychological Therapist deeply committed to supporting individuals who experience intense emotions and seek meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
Caledonian Counselling was created to offer accessible, compassionate support to anyone who may be struggling, no matter where they are based. All sessions are delivered online, allowing you to connect from the comfort and privacy of your own home. Whether you live in a remote area or have a busy schedule, online therapy offers a flexible and effective way to access the support you need. If this sounds like the kind of support you're looking for, I encourage you to reach out.
I specialise in working with people coping with overwhelming emotions, grief, depression, and difficulties in relationships, including couples therapy. I also have experience supporting those living with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), helping them navigate emotional challenges and build more fulfilling connections. If any of this resonates with you, now might be the right time to begin therapy.
Therapy with me is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and care. I provide a safe and supportive online space where you can speak openly and be met with understanding and curiosity. Together, we can explore emotional patterns, relationship dynamics, and the deeper roots of your distress. We will also develop practical tools to help you feel more stable, empowered, and in control. You are welcome to bring whatever is on your mind. No issue is too big or too small to talk through.
At Caledonian Counselling, your story matters. Whether you’re facing a period of crisis, living with complex emotional experiences, or simply want to better understand yourself, therapy can be a valuable and transformative journey. You don’t have to face things alone. If you’re ready to take that first step, get in touch to arrange a free 15 - minute initial consultation.
My Approach
Pluralistic
I work from a pluralistic perspective, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to support your unique goals and preferences. Some clients want to talk and process, while others prefer practical strategies, body awareness, or creative reflection. There’s no one-size-fits-all path to healing and together, we’ll find what works best for you. This flexible, responsive approach allows us to adapt as your needs shift over time. Whether we explore your past, focus on the present, or look ahead to future changes, therapy will always be tailored to you, grounded in curiosity, warmth, and mutual respect.
Client Collaboration
At the heart of my work is a strong commitment to collaboration. I believe therapy is most effective when we work together to shape the direction, pace, and focus of our sessions. You are the expert in your own life, and I bring psychological insight, tools, and reflective space to support that expertise. We’ll regularly check in on what’s helping, what’s not, and what feels important now. Clients often tell me they appreciate this open and empowering approach because it helps them feel safe, respected, and more in control of their own process. Therapy becomes something we create together, not something done to you.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step and it is normal to wonder what to expect. Our first session is a chance to get to know each other, explore what is bringing you to therapy, and set goals together. This session is your space to share at your own pace and I will explain how we can work together in a way that feels safe and supportive. From there, we will decide on the best approach forward.

Each therapy session lasts 50 minutes, which is a standard length that allows enough time to explore what’s on your mind while keeping the session focused and manageable.

My fees are £70.00 for individual one-to-one therapy sessions as well as for CBT and DBT sessions. Couples therapy sessions are priced at £100.00

Online therapy offers the flexibility to connect from the comfort of your own space, saving travel time and making it easier to fit sessions into a busy schedule. It provides access to support regardless of location, which can be especially helpful if mobility, anxiety, or distance are challenges. Many clients find online sessions just as effective and feel safe and supported in a familiar environment.

All therapy sessions at Caledonian Counselling take place online via Zoom, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own home, no matter where you are in the UK.
Zoom is a secure and reliable video platform, and your confidentiality is a top priority. Sessions are never recorded, and all conversations are protected using end-to-end encryption. You’ll receive a private Zoom link before each session, and only you and I will have access to the call.
I recommend choosing a quiet, private space where you feel safe and at ease during your sessions. Online therapy offers the same depth, care and professionalism as in-person work, while giving you the convenience and flexibility to access support in a way that fits your life.
If you have any questions about how online therapy works or what to expect, I’m happy to talk you through it.
What Clients are Saying
“As someone with BPD, I’ve often felt like I was ‘too much’ in therapy. With Aaron, I felt truly seen. Our sessions helped me make sense of my emotions and build healthier ways to cope. I’m more stable, more self-compassionate, and feel hopeful for the first time in years”
Sophie
“We came to therapy feeling stuck and disconnected. With patience and guidance, we learned to really listen to each other and understand what was going on underneath the arguments. Our relationship feels stronger, more open, and more connected than it has in a long time”.
James & Priya
"Before starting therapy, I found myself getting overwhelmed by my emotions during conflicts with my partner. I would often react impulsively, which only made things worse and left me feeling frustrated and disconnected. Through therapy, I’ve learned practical strategies to recognise my emotional triggers and calm myself before responding. Aaron helped me develop better communication skills and build patience, which has completely changed the way I handle disagreements.
